is originally from Riverside and currently, a senior in the BASW program at SDSU. Ariana’s career goal is to become a social worker working with substance abuse and rehabilitation, disadvantaged youth, or the prison population. She hopes to break repetitive and destructive cycles and help direct clients away from substance addictions and imprisonment, which is more regularly seen in those that come from disadvantage backgrounds. Ariana also wants to work with the prison population and released offenders in a rehabilitative and reentry/transitional setting to help them make the most of their second chance and reintegrate successfully back into society, and to overall work towards reducing recidivism rates.
