The Consensus Organizing Center provides valuable and effective trainings on the Consensus Organizing Model. The trainings are instructed by the creator of the model, Mike Eichler, or his protégés and staff members. These events provide community members, residents, business owner, faith-based representatives, non-profits, and politicians an opportunity to learn how to utilize the Consensus Organizing Model to establish and maintain partnerships, discover grant opportunities, identify the self-interest of your funders and partners, and create programs with long-lasting outcomes.

During this training, attendees learned the basic concepts of Consensus Organizing including, mutual self-interest, social capital, identifying external and internal resources, and building partnerships.

During this training, attendees learned how Consensus Organizers fundraise and develop more resources. This also included, understanding self-interest of funders, developing relationships with potential funders, and discovering funding opportunities through public, private, and individuals sectors).

Topic: Consensus Organizing Model and Application
Program Managers Jen Henry and Jennifer Martinez traveled to Atlanta to provide a two-day training on the Model and application of Consensus Organizing. This was a state-wide Georgia training for advocates working on several foster youth issues.
